Parent Partnership

Only by working hand in hand with parents and carers can we give children the very best start in life

‘If children feel safe, they can take risks, ask questions, make mistakes, learn to trust, share their feelings and grow’

Termly Parent Appointments

Every term your child’s key person will be in touch with you to either have a face to face appointment or invite you in to nursery for parents evening to discuss your child’s progress.

Monthly Newsletters

At the end of every month we share with parents what we have been up to and up and coming plans at nursery. We also use our email newsletters to gain feedback and input from parents through surveys and questionnaires.

Daily Updates

We use the EY Log app for parents which is updated daily with your child’s daily naps and what they have eaten. It is also where we regularly share photos of what children have been up to.

We have monthly talks for parents on zoom covering topical parenting and child development issues.

The role of the key person

We take the role of the key person for your child very seriously, it is the person who your child can create a deep attachment with when he or she is with us. This is the person who will be developing a close relationship with you as well and keeping in touch on a regular basis.
